A warm bonfire crackles under the moonlit sky as a community of recovering men and women gather in the courtyard to share their experiences, strengths, and hopes of a sober living environment. Two resident musicians strum guitars and share a recovery ballad they have created for their friends.

And two Herbert House alumni, returning to celebrate sobriety milestones, lead the group in the “Reception of New Members,” as new residents are welcomed into the house to begin their journey into a sober living environment.

For over a decade, Herbert House has provided a safe and nurturing sober living environment to recovering men and women from all walks of life and geographies.
